Which facial is best for me?

If it’s your first time or a reoccurring visit you always have the option to book a "Consultation + Facial" and leave it up to your licensed skin therapist to give you their honest and professional opinion on what they recommend would be best for you.

Are your facials pregnancy or nursing safe?

Yes! All of our facials, add-on's and skincare products are safe to receive while pregnant. We have curated naturally derived skincare brands that are professional-grade and have undergone rigorous testing

Before your facial:

Plan to perform any workouts before your facial and not afterwards. Avoid using harsh chemical or physical exfoliants 4 days before your facial. Plan to silent your phone and smart watches so you can fully enjoy and relax during your service. Make sure you have completed your client intake form and have updated any changes in your skincare routine. Let your Esthetician know your main concerns and what you would like to focus on during your facial.

After your facial:

Snap a glowy post-facial selfie! Then, we recommend taking it easy for the rest of the day, no rigorous exercises or sweating, and please avoid touching your skin for the rest of the day. Also, we recommend avoiding heavy foundations on the day of your facial. Make sure to wash and dry your makeup brushes with an anti-bacterial soap, and replace your sponges and applicators with new ones. Extra points if you remember to wipe down your cell phone and replace your pillow case!

Recommended for first time clients. Your skin therapist and you will discuss your concerns and then suggest the appropriate treatment they believe will achieve your desired results.

The enhanced 90 min treatment is great if you would like the additional time for relaxation and perhaps more attention to a skin concern (extra extractions, or an additional enhancement like LED therapy or scalp massage.)

The service price is determined based on the service you would like to move forward with.

The Hydrodermabrasion Facial is an aqueous exfoliation treatment that works through dull build-up, enlarged pores and post acne scarring on the outermost layers of the skin. This unique Hydro/Micro experience is an abrasion process that uses gentle vibrations with customized levels of exfoliation drawing away lifeless cells and resetting your skin’s natural balance.

What is Hydrodermabrasion? Hydrodermabrasion is a professional physical and chemical exfoliation service which buffs away the top layer of uneven texture and dry skin from the surface. A gentle vacuum draws out impurities while exfoliating serums are combined to help ease stagnant skin cells to wash away.

How often do you recommend getting a Hydroderm Facial? For optimal skin health we recommend receiving a Hydroderm Facial every 4 weeks. Our skin cycles through in about 28 days. When our skin hasn’t been professionally exfoliated, we begin to experience buildup of keratinized cells, frequent breakouts and rough texture. Exfoliation is key for effective skincare product penetration and makeup application.

FAQ’s:

Will dermaplaning change my facial hair texture? No, it is biologically impossible for hair to grow thicker after a dermaplaning treatment. Hair will grow back at the normal rate and texture.

How often is dermaplaning recommended? The average hair and skin cycle is about 3-6 weeks but slows down as we age. We recommend dermaplaning within that timeframe for healthy skin turnover.

Why is dermaplaning not recommended for those with active acne? We recommend first treating acne and breakouts prior to performing Dermaplaning. Acne is an inflammatory response to a deeper rooted issue and we like to approach it in a more holistic manner. Please consult with one of our Licensed Estheticians prior to booking this service if you have further questions and they will be happy to help guide you to the best choice for your skin concerns.

What is Microchanelling?

Microchanneling temporarily creates thousands and thousands of micro-channels into the skin to be repaired by new healthy collagen. During the treatment, serums are applied (containing naturally-derived growth factors, peptides and cytokines) restoring and increasing biological communication within the skin during the wound-healing cascade that an aging immune system no longer provides.

What skin conditions is Microchanelling ideal for?

Microchanneling is fantastic for preventative and corrective concerns including post acne scarring, facial laxity, softening fine line and wrinkles, and lightens the appearance of red and brown tones on the skin.

Microchanelling Contraindications:While micro-needling treatments are safe and effective, there are some who will not be good candidates for this types of advanced treatment.

Pregnancy – If you are pregnant or nursing you are advised to not receive any microneedling treatments. To date, there have been no studies conducted to see what effects these treatments may while pregnant, for this reason we want to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe during this period of time.

Diabetes - Unstable diabetes patients should not be treated due to problems with healing.

Accutane or any related acne medication - Accutane or any related drug should be discontinued for a minimum of 6 months prior to undergoing micro-needling.

Active Herpes Simplex in the treatment area - treatment is possible once the outbreak is healed, however it is advisable to take a prescription strength antiviral medication to keep this condition in remission during the treatment series.

Any active inflammatory skin condition e.g. eczema, psoriasis, infection, rash or any type of dermatitis at the treatment site.

I have back-breakouts, is this a good service for backne?100%. If you experience back-breakouts and need some attention on your back this is the best choice for you! We treat all of the hard to reach areas with a thorough cleaning, extractions and high frequency.

This advanced peeling treatment is forumlated safe and gentle for all ethnicities. We offer a variety of peeling solutions that are superficial level resurfacing "baby peels" with little to no downtime.

This is an express treatment which includes a thoughrough facial cleansing, appropriate peel solution for your concerns, moisurizer and broad spectrum SPF. The face, neck and decolette are all included, as well as a post care skincare kit to help with your healing journey.

What is the downtime after a chemical peel? Plan to take it easy for 3 days post peel. No intentional sun-exposure like long beach days for the following days. Maintain a super clean environment for your skin to heal and restore itself.

Can I exercise after a peel?

We do not recommend doing anything that will bring heat or an inflammatory response to your skin for the first 48 hours. Please plan your exercising, and outdoor activies accordingly.
